Come, let’s shout praises to God, raise the roof for the Rock who saved us!
Let’s march into his presence singing praises, lifting the rafters with our hymns! Psalm 95:2
People. In all of our crazy choices, daily frustrations, and opinions a dime a dozen, we just can't seem to live with them. The real truth is that we also can't live without them. Our bodies just aren't made to do it.
Over the next couple of weeks, we'll be taking a look at three separate questions:
In the 90s, the music we listened to was a mixed bag. I was in high school. There was grunge, country, boy bands, and teen pop stars. Does LFO, 98 Degrees, or Green Day bring back any memories? There was a group that always seemed to shift my perspective when I listened to them. One of the lines of their songs said,
“Meet me in outer space. We could spend the night, watch the earth come up.”*
Are you cringing yet? I said the word, "money". Yep, right there in the title. We're going there. We're going there because I've worried about how much I've had or how little I've had and even how much other people would "assume" I had. My worry eventually got even more worried and I began to sniff out judgement before it even arrived on my doorstep. We're going there because I'd bet this very house I'm sitting in that money sometimes bothers you too.
